Superimposing

This was made with a nifty little app called Superimpose. Superimpose allows you to take one of your photos, cut out a portion of it, and add that to another photo.

1. Open Superimpose and choose the top left button. Choose new background and load your background picture.
2. Choose new foreground import the picture you want to cut and put on top.
3. Choose the third button on the bottom.
4. Hit the top right button and choose the wand. Tap the area you want to get rid of.
5. If there's more of the background left, choose the paintbrush from the same menu and make it pretty small. Get rid of the rest of it.
6. Select transform and move the top layer.
7. If you want another photo, select the top left button. Once you merge the images, you can't change them. Follow the steps again if you want another picture on top.
8. Go back to the home screen and choose the third button on the top. Export the picture to wherever you want it.

Text on Images

I'm sure you've seen some cute tumblr pictures of quotes on top of images.
So here's how to do it on your iPhone or iPod.

1. Download Phonto. It's free.
2. Open it up and tap the middle button on the bottom of the screen to import a picture or choose a blank one.
3. Tap anywhere on the picture and select add text.
4. Type up what you want. If it goes down to the next line, find the spot where it switches lines and hit enter.
5. Exit that screen and select the text that should be on the picture now. Select font and choose the one you want. You can import your own fonts if you have a mac.
6. Select the test again, choose style, and choose your font color. You can make it in several colors using the patterns. If it's hard to see, choose stroke (which is an outline) and adjust it until the text is visible.
7. Adjust the size and placement of the text until you have it how you like it.
8. Choose the button on the bottom right of the screen and select where you want to export it to.
